For all Jyotish Services the accuracy of birth data is very important. The time of your birth mentioned on the birth certificate may not be 100% accurate in minutes and seconds, therefore it is recomonded to get your birth time rectified by a Jyotish expert before having your chart reading to ensure more accuracy in your readings. However if you are sure about the accuracy of your birth time you may go with the same without rectification.

For a birth time rectification within the range of 30 minutes plus or minus you need to provide following informations:

1) Date of birth- Day/Month/Year
2) Approximate time of birth ( mention the Range of time for and behind the approximate time)
a) Time Zone (if possible)
b) Day light saving if applicable
3) Place of birth- ( also mention longitude and latitude if possible)
a) Name of the city/town/ village
b) Name of the district, county/ prefecture/ state
c) Name of the country
4) Some important events of your life -
a) Discription of major illness, hospitalization, surgery, accident; also specify the parts of the body diseased or injured and cause with the date and duration.
b) Dates of the birth of younger sisters and brother.
c) Date of marriage
d) Dates of the birth of your children.
e) Dates of the death of close relatives if any.
f) Major gains in life.
g) Major losses.
h) Major journeys --- Date of journey start…………………….Date of return from the journey…………….
i) Dates of important events during your education as graduation from the university etc or break in education.
j) Dates of starting job/ busines; also mention the type of work.
k) Dates when you quit any job.
l) Dates of the birth of your children.
m) Anything els you would like to mention.........

Note: For reliable rectification of your birth time at least five to eight important events of your life with exact date are required. You can add more events of your life which are also very important in your life.
